Our speech language pathologists are highly skilled in providing assessments, consultations, and treatment services via Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant video communication platform. All you need is a phone, laptop, or computer with video/audio capabilities and a phone or internet connection.

Success Online

Prior to the assessment or treatment session, your clinician will share a link via Zoom that will bring you to their “room” for your reserved time. Please check to make sure that this link works – as well as audio settings - on the device of your choosing.

Below we have included details on how to set up your environment to ensure a successful evaluation and/or treatment session

  1. Ensure you or your child is set up in a quiet setting, free from distractions.

  2. A web-enabled desktop, laptop, or iPad is required for testing and/or treatment. An iPhone screen size is not valid for testing but may be used for recurring treatment sessions.

  3. Close all other programs on the computer, and please suspend unnecessary alerts and notifications (e.g. iMessage, Facebook, email) so that they do not appear during sessions.

  4. If available, use a headset with a mic (such as Apple iPhone earbuds).

  5. Remove all non-essential items from the table or make sure they are out of reach (pens, toys, books, iPhone, etc.).
